Nizami Ganjavi (1141-1209) is considered by many to have been the greatest romantic epic poet in Persian literature. Although there is some debate in the West, in the Middle East he is considered a mystical poet, and various scholars have detected in his poems an underlying current of esoteric Sufi teachings.
It is from just such a mystical perspective that the present book was conceived. Each of Ian S Major’s verses is inspired by the insights contained within Nizami’s ‘Khamsa’ (Quintet). They reveal and elucidate many of the universal principles that govern the aspirant’s path to Light. This premium quality book is a gem-filled treasure for all sincere seekers.

- About the Author: Until he retired, Ian Major’s professional background – depending how far back you want to go – was in adult education. It was what he had done for a living. He had enjoyed it immensely. However, for reasons he is still to discover, his lifelong passion has been the study and practice of what some refer to as the ‘perennial wisdom’.
